Protac Ball Blanket® is the original sensory-stimulating blanket with specially designed plastic balls, which provides a pleasant enveloping feeling for the entire body. The balls in the blanket stimulate the sense of touch and the muscle-joint sense through deep and dynamic touch-pressure, thus promoting an improved body awareness, which helps the child fall asleep more easily. This effect of the blanket has been documented through several research projects, where Protac Ball Blanket® has alleviated sleep problems and increased the daily well-being of children with ADHD.Protac Ball Blanket® is suitable for children with physical unrest, ADHD, Autism, Developmental Disabilities and Cerebral Palsy. The Protac Ball Blanket® Baby and Junior contain specially designed balls of 2.5-3.8 cm, which are important for the blanket's dynamic and long-lasting effect. In addition, the blankets are CE-marked and registered according to medical devices Class 1 at the Danish Medicines Agency.

Design and sizes
Protac Ball Blanket® is aailable in the sizes: Baby (6-12 months); and Junior (1-5 years). The Junior blanket is also available in two different models depending on the child's sensory needs. All blankets except for Classic Junior can be washed in a regular washing machine.The blankets are available in cotton and Trevira. Unless flame retardant material is required, cotton is recommended as this is an OEKO-TEX certified fabric.
