Sensory-stimulating air mattress with plastic balls
Protac MyBaSe® is a sensory-stimulating air mattress that provides a pleasant enveloping feeling for the entire body. The balls in the top layer of the mattress stimulate the sense of touch and the muscle-joint sense through deep and dynamic touch-pressure, and thus promote an improved body awareness. The mattress can be used as a secure base for rest in institutions, sensory rooms, psychiatric and somatic hospitals.
Protac MyBaSe® alleviates mental and physical unrest and sharpens concentration. The mattress is suitable for both children and adults, and benefits individuals with ADHD, autism, psychiatric disorders, brain damage, spasticity, deaf-blindness, and developmental disorders.
The size of the mattress also makes it possible to properly position wheelchair users in correct alignment, thus providing an alternative to their sitting position during the day. The touch-pressure and movement of the balls dampens spasticity and promotes calmness.

Specialized therapists use Protac MyBaSe® as an aid to motor-skill training. The mattress is curved on one side, which makes the mattress livelier and thus challenges the user’s sense of balance, and a stable side, which is suitable for gentler treatment.
Design and size
Protac MyBase® is a 200x200 cm inflatable mattress that comes with an electric pump, which makes it quick to assemble. The top layer consists of loose plastic balls under an easy-to-clean elastic top cover. The mattress has handles on all four sides, making it easy to move.
Can be combined with
Protac MyBase® can advantageously be combined with Protac Ball Blanket® or Protac SensCircle® if further stimulation of the sense of touch and the muscle-joint sense is needed.

WASHING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
The air mattress can be cleaned with a cloth wrung in hot water. The cover can be washed. The regularity and need for washing depends on use. See below for washing and cleaning instructions.Protac MyBaSe® The cover can be machine washed in a min. 6 kg capacity washing machine with washing powder with no bleaching agents - see also the washing instructions on the cover.
To remove spots using a spot remover, always try first on an area which is not visible to test for damage or discolouring. Protac does not recommend the use of spot remover.
Protac cannot be held liable for incorrect washing and maintenance.
Maintenance
